How much does Vrolu cost?
Tracking any flight is free: its status, gate and times, plus group trips with the itinerary and your people. Vrolu Pro is $39.99 a year or $4.99 a week, and Group Pro is $79.99 a year or $12.99 a week. Your first flight includes every Pro feature, on us, until it lands.
What does Vrolu Pro add?
Every flight you track, live. The plane on the map and the path it really flew; the flight on your Lock Screen, Dynamic Island, Apple Watch, CarPlay and StandBy; alerts the moment a delay, gate change or cancellation is filed; the reason it's late and how long, from the inbound aircraft and the FAA; and a live link you can send in a text. Group Pro adds your group's whole board: one subscription lights every member's shared flights for everyone in the group.
How does the first-flight pass work?
The first flight you add includes every Pro feature until it lands. It ends on its own, with nothing to cancel, and it never turns into a subscription.
Where does the flight data come from?
Flight status, gates and positions come from FlightAware, the airport programs from the FAA's National Airspace System, and the weather from Apple. Vrolu reads them together, so a delay arrives with its reason: the plane coming in late, a ground stop, or weather at either end.
How do I check if my airport is delayed?
Open vrolu.com/airports and type a code or a city. Each of the busiest US airports has its own page with the FAA's ground stops and delay programs in effect right now, the weather at the field, and the time it was read in the airport's own clock. It's free and works in any browser.
Can the people meeting me follow my flight without the app?
Yes. With Pro, or on your first flight, you can send your flight as a link in a text. Whoever opens it watches the plane fly and land in any browser, with nothing to install.
How do group trips work?
Make the trip in the app, add everyone's flights and the plan, and invite your people. They open the trip in the app or in any browser, signing in with the email you invited, so the trip stays with the people on it. Changes show up for everyone right away. Group trips are free.
Is there an Android app?
Vrolu comes to Google Play this month. Until then, any Vrolu flight link or trip opens in a phone's browser.
How do I cancel or get a refund?
Pro is billed through your Apple Account: cancel anytime in your iPhone's Settings under your name, then Subscriptions. Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something went wrong, email hello@vrolu.com and we'll make it right.
What happens to my data?
Vrolu uses what it needs to run: your email for your account, and the flights and names you add. We sell nothing about you and run no ad trackers, and shared trip pages are kept out of search engines.
